Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a great game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about other, more advanced people winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty selections.

It is also simpler to wager on for a long time with basically a tiny amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands has to be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer's.
