Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the wild west in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about other, more knowledgeable players winning their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied selections.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a little amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the dealer's hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino's.
